What does Sams On Site do?
We rent and sell office trailers, storage trailers, used dry van trailers, and shipping containers across Metro Toledo and Northwest Ohio. We also fabricate custom shipping containers for everything from job-site storage to backyard pools, ADUs, saunas, and pool houses. Call 419-745-9492. -
Where do you deliver?
Across Metro Toledo, Northwest Ohio (Maumee, Perrysburg, Sylvania, Oregon, Northwood, Rossford, Holland, Bowling Green, Findlay), and Southeast Michigan (Monroe and surrounding) — roughly a 30-mile radius from our yard at 721 Matzinger Rd. -
Are you locally owned?
Yes. We're a Toledo-headquartered, family-operated business at 721 Matzinger Rd. Local crews, local fleet, local accountability. No corporate phone tree. -
What's the difference between Sams On Site, Sams 3PL Solutions, and My Parking Hub?
Sams On Site rents and sells the trailers and containers, plus custom fabrication. Sams 3PL Solutions handles indoor warehousing and cross-dock logistics. My Parking Hub is our gated outdoor storage facility at the North Toledo Industrial Hub. All three are the same family — one call routes you to the right team. -
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday by appointment, Sunday closed. Phone answered live during business hours; voicemails returned promptly outside hours.

How fast can you deliver an office trailer in Toledo?
Same-week delivery is standard across Metro Toledo and Northwest Ohio. If you need a job site office set up by the end of this week, call us in the morning. For 24-hour turnarounds, we will do our best — call 419-745-9492 and we will be honest about timing. -
What sizes of mobile office trailers do you rent?
We rent everything from single-room units (8×20 ft) suitable for one to two people, up to multi-room configurations (10×56 ft and larger) for full project teams. Most units come with HVAC, electrical wiring, lighting, and at least one entry door with a steel security frame. -
Are your office trailers furnished?
Most rentals come unfurnished so you can configure the interior to your team's workflow. We can recommend local furniture vendors, and for longer-term contracts we will occasionally include desk and chair packages on request. Tell us what you need and we will tailor a package. -
Can I rent an office trailer month-to-month?
Yes. Month-to-month is our most common arrangement (rentals start at $150/month). For multi-year projects we offer reduced rates with longer commitments. Mid-contract changes — moving to a bigger unit, adding an HVAC upgrade — are usually no problem. -
What site prep do we need to do before delivery?
Level ground, enough access width for our delivery truck (typically 12 ft), and clear of overhead obstructions. We will do a site walk before delivery if you would like — no charge — and flag anything that might be an issue.

What's the difference between a storage trailer and a shipping container?
A storage trailer is a wheeled dry van (the box that sits on a tractor's fifth wheel). It can be relocated easily and gives you elevated access via the back doors. A shipping container is a ground-level steel box — typically 20-ft or 53-ft — that sits flat on the ground for permanent or semi-permanent storage. Each has its strengths; we will recommend based on your use case. -
How big are your storage trailers?
Most of our dry van trailers are 53 ft long × 8.5 ft wide × roughly 9 ft tall inside — about 4,000 cubic feet of storage. We also carry shorter 28-ft and 48-ft units for tighter sites. -
Can I buy a used storage trailer instead of renting?
Yes. We sell used dry van trailers and 53-ft shipping containers at competitive prices. Inventory rotates, so call 419-745-9492 to see what is currently on the yard. -
Do you offer ground-level storage containers?
Yes — 20-ft and 53-ft shipping containers sit flat on the ground for forklift-friendly loading. Perfect for tool storage, raw materials, equipment that is heavy to lift, or any use case where ramp access matters. -
Can I store at your facility instead of on my site?
Yes. If you do not have on-site room, we store your product, tools, materials, or equipment at our gated North Toledo facility. Pull what you need when you need it.

What kinds of container modifications do you offer?
We modify shipping containers for an enormous range of uses — anything from job-site storage and security shacks to backyard pools, saunas, cold plunges, yoga studios, in-law suites, short-term rentals, pool houses, man-caves, she-sheds, containers with rooftop decks, and just about anything in between. Capabilities include custom doors, windows, vents, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, insulation, partitions, custom paint, vinyl wraps, decks, and bespoke layouts. If you can describe it, we can usually build it. -
Do you build residential container conversions like pools, saunas, and ADUs?
Yes — we build shipping container pools, pool houses, pool-bar combos, saunas, cold plunges, yoga studios, in-law suites, backyard ADUs, short-term rental modular units, man-caves, she-sheds, guest cabins, and containers with rooftop decks. Every lifestyle build is custom. Call us with your vision and we will scope it out. -
Do you handle permitting for custom container builds?
For custom builds that require permits, we offer full white-glove permitting and project management with your local township and building department. Each project is too specific for us to publish a rate sheet, but we are happy to build you a tailored proposal — please inquire. Otherwise, check with your local township and building department for permitting requirements. -
How long does custom container fabrication take?
Standard modifications (cutting doors, adding vents, basic electrical) typically take 2 to 3 weeks. Full custom builds with insulation, HVAC, plumbing, finished interiors, and custom paint can take 6 to 12 weeks. Lifestyle builds like pools or ADUs with permitting can take longer — we will be straight about timing on the first call. -
What's a typical cost range for a custom container build?
Basic modifications start at a few thousand dollars. Fully built-out, insulated, HVAC-equipped office or shop conversions can run $25,000 to $60,000+. Can you build with custom paint colors or vinyl wraps?
Yes. We finish in any color — corporate branding, blackout, hi-vis safety, you name it. Vinyl wraps are also available for branded containers used at events or as mobile shops.

Do you offer indoor or outdoor warehousing?
Both. Sams 3PL Solutions provides indoor cross-dock and warehousing for product, palletized inventory, and freight handling. My Parking Hub offers gated outdoor storage at our North Toledo Industrial Hub for trailers, equipment, vehicles, and containers. -
How secure is your facility?
Our gated North Toledo Industrial Hub is fenced, monitored, and accessible only to verified tenants and staff. For indoor warehousing, we operate climate-stable, alarmed facilities with controlled access. -
Can I tour the warehouse before signing a contract?
Absolutely encouraged. Call 419-745-9492 to schedule a walk-through. Most local customers want to see the facility before committing — we would rather you do. -
Do you offer cross-dock services?
Yes — through Sams 3PL Solutions. Cross-dock is our specialty: freight comes in, gets staged and re-loaded onto outbound trucks without going into permanent storage. Great for distributors managing high-velocity inventory.

How does pricing work for rentals?
Rentals start at $150/month for storage and office trailers. Final price depends on unit size, configuration, contract length, delivery distance, and any add-ons (HVAC upgrade, additional security, longer-term commitment). Do you require a minimum rental period?
Most rentals are month-to-month. We don't charge an early termination fee for storage trailers and most office trailers — give us reasonable notice and we'll schedule pickup. Custom-fabricated units and specialty configurations may have different terms; we'll spell out the contract when we send the quote. -
What forms of payment do you accept?
Check, ACH, and major credit cards. For ongoing rentals, most customers set up autopay via ACH to keep things simple. -
Do you offer financing for purchases?
Yes — financing is available for outright purchases of dry van trailers, shipping containers, and custom-fabricated units. Terms depend on the size of the purchase. Call us with what you're looking at and we'll walk through options. -
What if my site has access constraints?
Tell us up front and we'll work it out. We do a free site walk for new customers if the site is in our delivery radius. Tight gates, low overhead clearance, soft ground — we've worked around all of it. -
Do you deliver in bad weather?
We deliver year-round through Toledo winters. Heavy snow, ice, or thunderstorms can push a delivery window by a day or two — we'd rather wait for safe conditions than damage your site. We'll always call before we delay.
