Sams On Site is a locally owned trailer and container yard on Matzinger Road in North Toledo. We rent and sell office trailers, storage trailers, and shipping containers, and we build custom container conversions in house.
The yard
A real yard, on a real street, in the 419.
Search for a storage container in Toledo and most of what comes back is a national booking platform. You fill in a form, a price appears, and somewhere behind it an order gets routed to whichever regional carrier was cheapest that week. It works, mostly. But nobody on that chain has seen your site, nobody can tell you what condition the unit is actually in, and when the delivery window slips there is no one to call who can do anything about it.
We are the other thing. The containers are at 721 Matzinger Rd. The trucks are ours. The person answering the phone can walk outside and look at the unit you are asking about. When we say same-week delivery, that is our schedule we are committing, not a subcontractor's.
That local footprint is also why we can be useful in ways a platform cannot. We know which Perrysburg streets a 53-ft trailer cannot turn onto. We know the overhead clearance problem in the older Sylvania neighbourhoods before we send a truck. We know that Lake Erie weather off Maumee Bay is harder on steel than anything inland Toledo throws at a unit, so we pull different inventory for Oregon jobs. None of that is on a spec sheet. It comes from doing this here, for a long time.
We serve manufacturers, contractors, school boards, restoration companies, retailers, event coordinators, and plenty of homeowners in the middle of a renovation — across Metro Toledo, Northwest Ohio, and Southeast Michigan. Rentals start at $150/month.

No third-party hauling middlemen. When a delivery window has to move, we are the ones moving it, which means we can actually tell you what is happening instead of relaying it.

Where is Sams On Site located?
Our yard is at 721 Matzinger Rd., Toledo, OH 43612, in North Toledo near the Port of Toledo district and minutes from I-75 and I-280. That location is the reason our delivery windows across Metro Toledo are as tight as they are. Yard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday by appointment. -
Are you a locally owned company or a franchise?
Locally owned and operated out of Toledo. We are not a franchise of a national brand and we are not a booking front-end that routes your order to whichever regional carrier bid lowest. The containers and trailers are on our yard, the trucks are ours, and the people you talk to work here. -
What is the difference between Sams On Site, Sams 3PL Solutions, and My Parking Hub?
They are three brands in the same Toledo logistics family, sharing a facility and staff. Sams On Site rents and sells the trailers and containers themselves. Sams 3PL Solutions handles indoor warehousing and cross-dock logistics for businesses that need freight or inventory managed. Can I visit the yard before renting?
Yes, and we encourage it. Call 419-745-9492 first so someone is expecting you and the unit you want to see is accessible rather than buried three rows deep. Most local customers walk the yard before committing, particularly on purchases. -
What areas do you serve?
Roughly a 30-mile radius from the Matzinger Road yard, covering Metro Toledo, Northwest Ohio, and Southeast Michigan — Toledo, Maumee, Perrysburg, Sylvania, Oregon, Northwood, Rossford, Holland, Bowling Green, and Monroe, Michigan, plus regular runs south to Findlay. Crossing into Michigan carries no surcharge.
